Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox doesn't work

I have Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox installed in my computer. But still i cant use stat commands for ex, nanmean, it gives "Undefined function 'nanmean' for input arguments of type 'double'." error message. Any idea of why this happens? Thanks Darshani
