what is Frequency in a image

Applying fourier transform to a image will convert it into frequency domain and the complex values are obtained. Can anyone explain... what does the frequency in a image represent or what does the frequency in a image means.

For the first half of the fft results, fft bin index N corresponds to a pattern that occurs (N-1) times across the signal, with bin index 1 corresponding to a constant offset.
So for frequency in an image, substitute the word "image" for "signal" in the above.

Thanks.....
How to select the cutoff frequency of the high pass filter for extracting frequencies of the line contained in this image i.e., the high frequencies

I'm done with that. We've been over this in countless postings and you know my feelings on it already. You keep trying wrong approaches with a new angle in each new posting. Sorry, but I'm finished discussing that.
