License problem when upgrading to OSX El Capitan: License Manager Error -9

Hi, I upgraded to OSX El Capitan and my Matlab 2012 Student stopped working. It was working with Yosemite. My hard disk was replaced by Apple 2 months ago but after restoring the backup it continued working but after the upgrade to El Capitan, any idea on how to fix it? it gives the error: License checkout failed. License Manager Error -9 The hostid of your computer (xxxxxxxxxxx) does not match the hostid of the license file (yyyyyyyyyyy).

Actually the problem solved itself. I just rebooted and the program started working. So right after the OS installation it does not work, but after a reboot it starts working again.

I see that you are facing license related error while using MATLAB.
Please note that, with MATLAB releases R2012a through R2013b on Mac OS X 10.8 to at least 10.10 (Mountain Lion, Mavericks, and Yosemite), your MathWorks Host ID points to en1, not en0. On Mac OS X 10.7 and earlier, the Host ID is still en0.
This issue only affects Mac models which have multiple network interfaces. Macs without a built in Ethernet port are not effected. This includes the MacBook Air and the retina MacBook Pro.
