How can i find co-ordinates (x,y) of white lines in the image?

I have image with black background and white lines. How to find co-ordinates (x,y) of white lines on that image?

how is the data representing black and white. 0's and 1's?. What format is the image in?

Yes, the data representing black and white by 0's and 1's. The format of the image is JPG file.

You will have difficulty finding the location of the lines. JPG images cannot handle sharp edges, so although the data may look like it is just white and black, you will find that it has a number of other values as well, similar to as if the image had been anti-aliased. JPG is a poor format for image analysis.
