Matlab not detecting Lego Mindstorms 2.0

I have installed the support package for Lego Mindstorms 2.0 on Matlab R2015b(Windows 8). When I get to the firmware update step Matlab does not detect the NXT even though the NXT is powered on and detected on Windows. I have also tried this on a different version of Matlab but the issue is still there. When I try to run a Simulink model it again does not detect the NXT. I have tried with USB and Bluetooth. What is the problem?

Did you manage to make it work? I have the same issue.
