My simulink model is crashing on real time testing. I foundout that turnaround time is higher than the sample time specified. I have a hardware interrupt assigned to one of the subsystems. Any solution?

My model has a sample time of one millisecond and one of the subsystems is triggered with dspace hardware interrupt with trigger time of 0.1 millisecond. Unfortunately, I can not change these times as per the specifications. 1. I can not simulate this in simulink as hardware trigger does not work unless I test on real time. Is there a possibility to simulate my model with multiple sample times? Function call generator did not work as subsytems have discrete integrators and masked sub-subsystems. 2. How do I optimize my simulink model to avoid crashing on real time?

I am also facing the same problem working in dspace. How can we avoid it.
