Does the Robotics System Toolbox work with Matlab 2014b?

I have Matlab 2014b installed on my Windows 64-bit machine. I was wondering if the Robotics System Toolbox will work with it. I wanted to trial the toolbox for its ROS functionality before purchasing the toolbox outright.
Thank you very much!

Robotics System Toolbox was introduced with R2015a .
Note though that even if it had been available for R2014b, you might not have been able to purchase it against that version. MATLAB limits how long a toolbox can be purchased for a previous version.

Given the Revision History in the PDF reference document for Simscape Multibody I believe that product was available in release R2014b. But keep the system requirements (link to the Windows requirements; for Mac or Linux see here) for that nearly ten year old release in mind. I'm pretty sure none of the Windows operating systems on which release R2014b is supported are still supported by Microsoft.
- Windows 8.1 end of support: January 10, 2023
- Windows 7 end of support: January 14, 2020
- Windows Vista end of support: April 11, 2017
- Windows XP x64 SP2 end of support: July 13, 2010
- Windows Server 2012 end of support: October 10, 2023
Is there a particular reason you're using a nearly ten year old release of MATLAB?
Also note that there may be many features that were introduced in Simscape Multibody in the ten years since R2014b that you wouldn't have access to in the R2014b version of that product.
