libmwmlapp_builtins_res.dll missing
Show older comments
I've been using Matlab 2015a since last year, but today started getting the error "The program can't start because libmwmlapp_builtins_res.dll is missing from your computer." I'm not aware of any changes having been made to the computer. Can this be fixed without reinstalling?

Did you update your virus scanner's definition files? Occasionally various antivirus programs incorrectly classify files needed for MATLAB to execute correctly as needing to be quarantined. If you did update your virus scanner's definition files, see if that file is stuck in its quarantine area.
