COM Component for C#
Show older comments
Hi all,
I have written a program in Matlab for validation and now would like to package the code into COM component library to develop a C# desktop application. In the Matlab website, I understand that the developer who accept the COM component library must have correct version of MCRinstaller. But when the developer finishes the C# desktop application and publish it as a standalone applicaation, does the end users need to have MCRinstaller on their computer?
The relevent matlab compiler website is here: http://www.mathworks.com/help/toolbox/compiler/br2jauc-3.html#br2jauc-9
Thanks for any feedback and direction.

Yes, the end users to need to have the MCR installed on their machines. Typically, developers use the "Add MCR" option on deploytool to package the MCR Installer with the deployed application.
