Adams co-simuliation with Matlab/simulink have some problems

4 views (last 30 days)
1.Firstly,when i set the language is C++,then in the simulink do the co-simulation ,we find that the model in Adams did anything. But when i use Fortran ,they can complete the simulation successfully.who can tell me why ? 2.secondly,in the adams i can use the velocity as the variable to the joint motion, but can't use the displacement as the variable.that means in the joint motion i can use VARVAL(velocity),but can't use VARVAL(displacement).why?

Hello, I met same questions during my co-simulation. Check the "simulation mode" in "adams plant" block. Be sure choose "discrete".
I don't know the deep reason of these errors. But this change actually make the difference in my work.
I read some books, articles or blog direct people to choose "continuous" as simulation mode. But in the officail "Help" page. Adams told us choose "discrete".
