Hi everyone,
I came across this problem when testing our app under Windows 7 : the dll that is generated by Matlab for our application doesn't work anymore.
I have a SEHException when instanciating the object in my c# code. Anyone ever encountered a similar problem? The dll is a COM object generated using a Borland compiler.
Thank you

Hi Sean,
Thank you for your time.
Unfortunately, my problem does not lie in the fact that Matlab isn't working in Windows 7. It's the dll, generated from Matlab (running on another machine that has Windows XP on it), that it is not working on Windows 7.
Any ideas?

But the DLL was generated on R14, correct? I can't say with much certainty, but it is not shocking to me, that it would not work on Windows 7.

The platforms supported for anything compiled is the same as the platforms supported by the MATLAB version it was compiled under.

Thanks Sean and Walter for your comments.
But I read somewhere on this board that people succeeded in using Matlab R14 with Windows 7.
Would installing it on my Windows 7 machine and rebuilding the dll on it would help me?
Thank you guys!

The only people I can remember who got R14 to work under Windows 7, did so by using an OS emulator to emulate an earlier OS release.
A couple of people have mentioned getting limited functionality.
Ideally the dll should be rebuilt under a recent version of MATLAB.
I would not _expect_ that installing R14 on Windows 7 and building the DLL there would work -- but I also cannot promise that it will _not_ work.
