Wouldn't your project sponsor (whoever is paying you to do this) have those images or videos?

But you still are getting paid from a grant, right? Someone hired you to write this for them, right? If they want you to write it for them, then my guess is that they probably have images or videos. Otherwise they're just giving money away for something that they'll never use - doesn't seem wise. If they don't, then there must be someone who might want to use your program, right? It wouldn't be very satisfying to create a solution that never gets used for a problem that doesn't exist.

Since nobody is funding your research, then I guess you're on your own. It seems like a camcorder, or even a smart phone, and a few of your friends and family should be able to get you quite a few videos.
The only case I heard where people were doing this was to monitor neonatal discomfort in maternity wards. They looked at both facial expression and body movement, if I remember correctly.

If you have a local sleep disorders clinic then they would have video of people sleeping. However, it is not typical sleep: the people have to sleep particular ways to avoid dislodging the sensors.

And then of course there's the issue of medical privacy laws so they would not be able to give images to your research unless the subjects had given written consent in advance.
