how to do the latitudinal average from a matrix?

Sir, i have a matrix of three dimension say m(80*80*28)i.e. latitude*longitude*altitude...i need the latitude average so that the matrix comes to the form 80*28 i.e. latitude*altitude....how to do that please help?

out = squeeze(mean(m,2))
