Matlab Ubuntu Unity integration

I really like the Global Menu in Ubuntu and the Main Window of Matlab has no real Menu Bar, but the Plots and Simulik have them but they appear in the Window itself and not on the Top Bar. As far as I know in Mac OS the Menu Bar is shown on the top.

Is it possible to move the Menu Bar into the Top Panel from Ubuntu 16.04?

Hello Mehmet,

The system requirements page for MATLAB R2016a shows the various versions of Ubuntu that is tested with MATLAB and Ubuntu 16.04 is not listed.

Do you see this issue with Ubuntu 15.10 as well?

I don't have Ubuntu 15.10. I switched from 14.04 to 16.04 but I didn't install Matlab in 14.04.
