Hello, I'm having problems with VideoWriter. I can get everything to work, minus some color artifacts with my output.
Basically: for anything less than uncompressed avi I get some very strong color artifacts.
Is there a reason I get these artifacts when I output to a lossy AVI format?

Hi Brian,
I understand you are experiencing an issue with VideoWriter. After taking an initial look at the outputs attached it is hard to comprehend what is the cause of this issue. And, I see that there is some kind of transposed overlay of transparent image as well(first link).
1. Please verify if this is an issue with only this file/data. Try a simple example of VideoWriter from our documentation page with different formats on your machine.
2. If you are observing the same issue even with a sample workflow above, please contact MathWorks Technical Support for assistance.
Hope this helps!
Thank you,
Adithya

Hello, I'm not sure what the problem is, but I wasn't able to get it to work for anything minus uncompressed AVI. What I do now instead is export to a gif format, because of the reduced filesize and more or less I get the same animation.
I can try this though, but I kind of gave up on the movie export.
