I would like to know if it has a way to calculate texture for irregular regions. I plan to calculate the texture for irregular regions, who came from the Watershed, and then create a similarity matrix. However, I found no descriptors for this. I tried GLCM to calculate Contrast, Energy and Uniformity for each region, but was not good.
Do you know any texture descriptor that's good to use in irregular regions?

Thanks for the help Image Analyst, but I did not find this case in particular. I made a good search on the Web of Science and IEEExplore for papers that have used the same approach, but I cannot find it.
The idea is perform the Watershed as a first segmentation, with the labeled regions created, create a similarity matrix, but to set the affinity between the regions, I must set a value for them, my idea was to use a texture descriptor in this step.
Apologize if I have not explained properly.

Well usually people post an image when asking for image processing advice, so I'm not surprised that my guess may have been off. However I don't do a lot of texture segmentation, like in all those papers I gave you a link to, so I still think it's a good lead and am surprised that none of the hundreds of links will work in your situation. The next step is to try a more targeted database like Vision Bibliography: http://www.visionbib.com/bibliography/contents.html
