Can't run power_V2G

I get this error message,"Number of blocks in the block diagram 'power_V2G' and all models it references exceeds the license limit of 1000 nonvirtual blocks." I just downloaded and reinstalled matlab R2016b with Simulink 8.8, and simscape power systems. I have a student version of matlab. I know three other students who can run power_V2G with no errors.

The limitation you are running into is as of your Student Version. The other students you know may be accessing a university license also open for students.
I suppose you need to run that demo for coursework (as this is what the Student Version is for) and suggest you share with your professor the limitiation of the Student Version.

The other students are using the student version of the software on their personal computers. They can run the simulation with not problems
So you are saying you have the same version, but the behaviour is different? That is not very likely. If you compare the output of the "VER" command, you will highly likely find differences.
In any case, that might not help you a lot. My idea was you could probably access the same version than your fellow students.
