way to convert .mat file to raster or vector data?

Hi all,
I have a question about how to convert the grid objects in .mat file to be usable raster or vector data for ArcGIS. Now, I have data containing in .mat file. It has 0 and 1 value. I would like to get raster for 1 and no value or blank for 0. Then, this should be very helpful for me to plot with the DEM and raster with 1 value in ArcGIS.
Tell me if you need more information or don't understand what I said.
Thanks, Pich

You want to replace 0 zero with NaN or you want to pick only those values which are 1? Can you attach your .mat file?
