I want to generate real-time code from a simulink model. The problem i am facing is this simulink block diagram has a embedded function which uses a 3rd party code in .p format. Is this feasible

It is possible to generate code from .p files as long as the author of that code specified the coder.allowpcode (previously called eml.allowpcode) directive in the corresponding MATLAB function (before pcode-ing it). You can either ask the author or try generating code from it yourself - you will see an appropriate error if the author did not enable code generation.

Thanks for the reply. How to generate code from the .p file with coder.allowpcode('plain'); command myself ? I dont think author has put this cmd in the code.

If the author of the pcoded file has not allowed you to use coder, than you cannot use coder. You need to contact the author of the pcoded file.
