How can i find processing speed or cpu throughput for a waveform coming out of an digital circuit using simulink blocks?How can i know that i can assign certain no of tasks to a processor without affecting its performance?

I have a digital circuit which generates a square waveform at certain task rate,for suppose it generates a waveform with one full cycle in 3 secs,then it should generate another full cycle right after first 3 secs.So here i am trying to test the peoridic task rate.How do i make sure that there are dealys in between and there is no task overrun happening inside the digital circuit.How do i implement this using simulink blocks.How do i find the processor throughput using a simulink blocks,to be specific how do i assign certain no of tasks to a processor without affecting the actual performance of a cpu?I have to find this using simulink blocks.Will that be possible?Please respond as soon as possible.
