Not able to open *.mdl file.

I am trying to open a *.mdl file by drag and drop in command window but the model is not opening. It shows the uiopen('model path') but still it is not opening. What should I do to open that model to update my logic in it.

Try open_system() on the model path. It might at least get you an error message about the problem

Could you attach your model for investigation?

Is will not try it myself for a number of hours as I am ready to sleep, but some one else might try.
