How can I get and read data files from a folder?

I'm working on some data files to process radar images for analysis but I'm having issues with getting and reading the files. With the following I am able to get and read the file by manually selecting the file

[fname1, pname,ext] = uigetfile( ... {'*.gbf','GBF data file (*.gbf)'}, ... 'Select GBD file');

This works if I'm only working with one or two files but I want to work with over 1,000 files. Does anyone know a way to get and read all the files at once? Looking forward for a soon reply.
