How can you compile a GUI in Matlab using mcc?

I can successfully compile a GUI using the deploytool, but am interested in achieving the same using a call to the mcc ompiler. Is this possible?

Both

mcc('-m','simplegui','-o','Simplegui','-d',outfolder,'-a',srcfolder)

and

mcc('-e','simplegui','-o','Simplegui','-d',outfolder,'-a',srcfolder)

result in Simplegui.exe simply not doing anything when lauched.

When you created the executable using deploytool, PackagingLog.txt is generated by the compiler. Try to copy the entire mcc command and see if you are able to create the standalone executable using that.
