How does MATLAB Compiler handle warning and error message commands?

6 views (last 30 days)
I just got Matlab Compiler and would like to know how warning and error message commands are handled ... when I compile and run an app no command line or console pops up so where do those messages show up? Is there a compiler option that will launch a console when an application is launched?
Thanks,
Josh

You can launch the app from a console and then errors/warnings/displays will show up in it.

Hi Sean,
Thanks for your answer. I face the same issue as Josh, could you please explain yourself a bit, how open the console and how to call the app?

Make sure to uncheck "Do not display the Windows command shell (console) for execution" under "Additional runtime settings" in the Application Compiler tool of MATLAB Compiler. You should be able to see all warnings and errors in that console.
