Checking Matlab Runtime Version

Hi all,
I have a question about checking the installed runtime version.
I am using Matlab R2016a on Windows system, and I installed Runtime v9.0.1 following the instruction on: https://www.mathworks.com/help/compiler/install-the-matlab-runtime.html under the default folder: C:\Program Files\MATLAB\MATLAB Runtime\v901. When I go to Matlab and use "mcrversion" to check the information it returns "Undefined function or variable 'mcrversion'.". I am guessing it means Matlab couldn't recognize the runtime because I installed it under the wrong folder? Or is it some other problem?
Thanks, Suomy
