Source code for Analog Discovery hardware support package

I work as a technician for my university's ECE department, and I've been tasked with interfacing the Digilent Analog Discovery 2 and MATLAB's Data Acquisition Toolbox. Version one of the Analog Discovery does this in MATLAB 2016 with no problem. While all the files for the DAQ Toolbox for MATLAB 2016 are readily accessible, it is still unclear to me how I would modify them to work with Ultimately, it would be okay if I wrote a Javascript executable with the WaveForms 2015 software that I could then call in MATLAB. I'm just looking for the easiest solution.
I am aware that MathWorks has been working on this in an official capacity since approximately April 2017, but it would be helpful to our department to have some form of solution in the meantime. Can anyone please lend some help on either the architecture of the DAQ Toolbox, or on any other sources that might help me in my quest? I have skimmed through the DAQ Tools SDK for MATLAB 2016, but I did not come away with a great understanding of why the system is built the way it is in MATLAB 2016.
*Also, note that I have been looking at the demo adapter tools in MATLAB 2017, as well as the 2017 version of the DAQ Toolbox. The latter is significantly more complicated, and does not support the Analog Discovery (v1) reliably, if at all. Again, this is clearly a big project, so any support would be appreciated greatly.

It is not obvious what your question is here. Nobody is going to provide source code to you. Nor will MathWorks tell you of their plans for the next release on a toolbox. So your question seems very vague, and virtually impossible to answer.
