I download a couple of trial toolboxes to test out with the licensed version of Matlab2016a that is running on my Windows 10 system. I must have accidentally downloaded/installed the trial version of Matlab2016a at the same time, and I can't seem to get my licensed version to run. Is there a way to uninstall the trial Matlab2016a?

You need to re-activate your license.
Excecute "deactivate_matlab.exe" under $MATLAB_INSTALL\uninstall\bin\win64 and relaunch MATLAB, then activate using your licensed file.
If this does not solve, please contact to MathWorks support team.

Ok, thank you. I did end up solving the problem by first locating my initial licensed Matlab version, and then un-installing R2016a, and re-activating the licensed 2016a. The de-activate option did not work for some reason. Everything is working normally now, thank you.
