How to train a deep learning method for classifying different signals whether sine , triangular, rectangular etc ?

Hi, I tried to find out examples to learn deep learning from scratch am stuck at a point in which most of the available matlab codes are based on image processing, but none of them reveal a basic step to classify signals.for example simple basic signal classification to complex ecg signal processing. can anyone please help me out to learn deep learning based on signal classification section ??
