cannot open shared object file Simulink Student Version 2012a

I have successfully installed Matlab/Simulink 2012a 32 bit on Linux 64 bit Centos release 6.2.

when i start Simulink i got this error:

Caught "std::exception" Exception message is: FatalException(unknown) MATLAB:dispatcher:loadLibrary Can't load '/usr/local/MATLAB/R2012a_Student/bin/glnx86/libmwsimulink.so': libGLU.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Has anyone had a similar problem? What could i do?
