parsing error with simulation of two programs

Hi Everyone. I am try to run a simulation that couples a matlab with EnergyPlus with a middleware. I'm getting a parsing error that reads:

error occurred while parsing class fxptui.explorer:
in fxptui.getexplorer at 12
in fptoolcallback at 13

I guest this has something to do with fix point. But I didn't use the fix point tool in my program. I am trying to pass three scalar outputs to EnergyPlus with two inputs. I would appreciate any direction as to what could be causing this. Thank you.
