Is there a way to analyse your arduino "Code" through matlab?

Meaning the code is uploaded to the arduino device using standard arduino software. Is there a way to interface to run that code through matlab to see its outputs?

Yes i am aware of direct read and write. My question is based on code that is already inbedded in the arduino. I would like to use matlab to analyse the outputs for the curremt code. Is this possible?

One way I can think of - Have your arduino code send out the outputs to the serial port. In MATLAB you can query serial ports using this function and its related functions - https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/serial.html

You can use the MATLAB support package for Arduino. This will let you connect to and control Arduino inputs and outputs from MATLAB.
