DC Machine Generator: how to create my own model ?

Hello,
I need to create a 2kw generator with 180 RPM speed. My input data is the torque given by a turbine. I know that i have to change the inertia, inductance and resistance values but with wich equations ? Do you know with wich equation they created their preset model ?
thanks, Aymeric

You want to create a model of a DC generator without knowing the underlying equations ?
There is a block called "DC Machine" on simulink. I'm a beginner in electricity, so i don't understand how to make this generator going at 180 RPM. If i enter a torque, the speed goes too fast. On the help for this block, they tell that you have to change the inertia value, but i don't know how....
it provides an example to see how this block should be used in simulink.
Note that this block gives you the speed in rad/s.
yes i had a look, but in the exemple it is used as a Motor and not a generator.

The below example in Simscape Electrical can be a good starting point. It shows a comparison of the torque-speed characteristics for five different motor types. Both motoring and generating regions are plotted.
