Software sensor - Neural Networks for modeling bioprocess

Hi everyone,

I'm working on software sensor (Biomass). And due to the complexity of the bioprocess, i'm using black box ( neural networks) to predict the biomass concentration during the culture. For that i'm using matlab to implement my RBF-NN (Radial Base Function - NN) and PCA for pre-processing the data. But here is my problem i can found how to do this cause i'm new in matlab and i don't want to use the matlab NN module. Is there a better NN or pre-processing method for modeling bioprocess? Please i need some help?
