Thanks for the tip. However, I don't think that's a good solution. I believe it tries to generate a convex hull using delaunayn. However, the closed surface I have is not necessarily a convex hull (arbitrary shape).
inpolygon equivalent function in 3D?

Hi,
I need to find a way to determine if a large number of points are inside a closed polygon expressed by either a triangular or quadrilateral mesh in 3D. I know in 2D, there's a matlab function "inpolygon". Is there an equivalent method/function in 3D?
