How to move title to front of visual stack?

In Matlab R2015b, I am trying to move an axes title to the front (i.e., top) of the visual stacking order for the axes, so that lines plotted on the axes do not obscure it. However, this cannot be done with uistack because Title is not considered a child of its Axes object (even though the Axes object is considered the Parent of its Title).

Is there another path that will accomplish this, short of simply eliminating the title and creating a text object instead?
