How can I get the source file path shown permanently in the MATLAB GUI?

I want to see the path of the current opened MATLAB source file in the MATLAB GUI permanently.
There exists an option in the preferences -> GUIDE -> "Show file path in window title", which does not work here.

Hi,
Are you looking for an option to add the path in the title when you execute the .fig file.
Thanks

No, I'm looking for an option to show the file path of the .m file which is currently opened in the editor.

Hi,
I think changing the "Name" property in Property Inspector may help. When you specify the Name property, the title of the figure changes as specified in this property. You could also give a pathname here.
Thanks

Thank you for your reply. I'm not working with figures but editing .m files with same names but different pathnames, which I want to see while editing not to mix them up.
