costumized colormap in a stand alone applocation??

I must to insert in an stand alone application a graphic that use a custom colormap of which i have the colors matrix but how i can to define that matrix inside the script? i have Thought to write it in this way [r g b;r g b;.... but there isn't a more speed method? if i have saved that matrix in an .mat file, and if i use it, after compiled the application ,it will be automaticcally saved?
