Error using save Unable to write file C:\Users\AHMED\AppData\Roaming\MathWorks\MATLAB\R2017b\matlabprefs.mat: permission denied

in matlab .................. how can i fix this error ?

If you have administrator access to the system, then once Run As Administrator, and do something that causes the preferences to be saved. That should permit it to create the file.

I just did. Run As Administrator, and modify your preferences (any change is to them is fine.)
