problem with demcmap function.

Hey, I have issues with display of topographic data using demcmap function. I have attached the final topographic data called topo_data. If I simply use demcmap function over this file, the only correct output I get is the colorbar but it doesnt display any of the elevation data at all. I have attached my output file for reference.
demcmap(topo_data); colorbar
