how can i fix this freezing problem when use syms?

my matlab every time i use syms or sometimes when i run a script it hangs and then it freez the laptop i dont know why my laptop is hp core i7 windows 10 please help me cause i lost a lot of time and work because of this issue

for exp syms x y (x-y)(x-y)^2 it freez the laptop
