How to build a Cable dynamic model using finite difference method?(Partial differential equation)

Hi everyone! First, thank you for feeling interested in this topic. It would be a bit long for my question(s). Currently, I am building a numerical model of an underwater vehicle tethering a cable. I already finished the model of vehicle, but I have trouble building the cable model.
The cable dynamic equation is provided which is a partial differential equation with 6 boundary conditions.I do not know how to implement a partial differential equation in Matlab.
The equation is :
The six boundary conditions are:
Conditions 1-3
Conditions 3-6
Vc(s,t)=0 %where Vc=[Vt;Vn;Vb;]
There is a paper "Numerical simulation of undersea cable dynamics" wrote by C.M.Ablow &S.Schechter. I tried to follow their method but I am confused in PDE.
If anyone has any suggestions, I am happy to know. Thank you!

hello,Do you have an answer to this question now? I simulated a similar effect using the lumped mass method, but now also want to use the finite difference method. You can contact me at 15776629544@163.com anytime.
