Matlab R2018a parfor fails with "Too many input arguments"

Matlab R2018a parfor does not work properly on my machine, complaining "Too many input arguments". Previous answers like distcomp.feature( 'LocalUseMpiexec', false ) does not work for me.
Here is the Cluster profile report. Any ideas?
