I cannot find my generated custom message Matlab/ROS

I have generated a custom message and when I search for it through "rosmsg list" it appears, but when I search for it using "rosmessage()" it cannot find it. Also, when I try to execute a subscriber that uses my custom message the same error occurs. Some help would be appreciated, thanks!
