Plot parametric surface with complex parameters

I want to plot the following using fsurf:

X = symfun1(z)

Y = symfun2(z)

Z = symfun3(z)

Where X,Y,Z are real and z is complex (z<c)

However, fsurf(X,Y,Z,[-c c]) only evaluate X,Y,Z at real z values.
