Can the >> Be Amended In The Command Window

Hi

I was curious to know whether the >> symbol in the command window be changed, I wanted to change it so that it would show John>>

Is this possible?

At the very least it used to be possible. If it's not in the normal settings I would suggest using your favorite internet search engine. I believe I've seen extensive options in a blog post on Yair Altman's blog.

I don't know if it will still work, but you could try Yair Altman's setPrompt function in the File Exchange.

I just tested it, and on my setup (R2018a, 64 bit Windows 10) this still works.
