Friends (I propose this be handled by Teresa Hubscher-Younger as we've discussed this earlier.) The two R2018b documents: Simulink and Simevents Reference documents have the following issues that need to be addressed:
1) SIMEVENTS includes the OBSOLETE blocks in the same section as the current blocks, sorted by name. When going through the blocks, it becomes difficult to keep skipping. Is it possible to place the Obsolete blocks in a separate section?
2) In both SIMULINK and SIMEVENTS References, the TOC simply says SIMEVENTS: "Blocks - Alphabetical List" and SIMULINK:"Blocks - Alphabetical List" and "Functions - Alphabetical List". There is no breakdown by function or block. This is very problematic. If we use "search" in our PDF reader, it keeps finding the name of the block or the function in the "SEE ALSO" paragraph and in the text of other blocks or functions, as there is a lot of very useful cross-referencing. We need to reach the blocks or functions directly. Is it possible to include a TOC that lists all the functions or blocks that are hyperlinked to those sections directly? I realize a listing of these blocks, functions and classes will be long but there is no better way to reach them. (This applies to SIMULINK's classes and possibly other sections).
3) This I am not 100% sure of, but I remember in the Block list of SIMEVENTS, some may have been out of order, not sorted. I could be wrong.
Next edition, I hope. All the best Akram
