Reading data in Matlab from Arduino Using Bluetooth
Show older comments
I need to read data from Arduino in Matlab via a Bluetooth connection. I have never done this before, so do not assume any prior knowledge. I have also looked at some of the other threads on here containing information about bluetooth connections with arduino, but they have not been very helpful. Any and all help is appreciated.

Do you need tcp, or udp, or do you need to transfer sensor data ?

Please see our documentation here for information on how to pair with an Arduino over Bluetooth:
https://www.mathworks.com/help/supportpkg/arduinoio/ug/instructions-on-pairing-bluetooth-device.html
If you run into any issues while doing this, you can find setup tips located here:
Once your device is paired and programmed correctly, you should be able to interface with it the same way you would using a USB connection
Please also note that this requires the Instrument Control Toolbox
