Topology Optimization - Would someone please help me execute Dr. Paulino's PolyMesher code?
Show older comments
Dr. Paulino of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign generously open-sourced his MatLab code for topology optimization.
He explains how to enter the parameters of the code in his paper entitled "PolyMesher: a general-purpose mesh generator for polygonal elements written in Matlab", beginning with section "5 Matlab implementation". This paper is available (<http://paulino.cee.illinois.edu/journal_papers/2012/12talischi_polymesher.pdf>) and the code is given in the appendix.
Though I am familiar with MatLab and functions, this application seems quite advanced, and I am not having success with its execution.
I'm curious if someone might be up to the challenge of compiling this PolyMesher, then generously provide an executable set of code as a template and reference.
I am fascinated with topology optimization and it is my dream to understand and apply this code. I feel miserable not being able to make it compile. Thanks so much for your assistance.
