controllability check for higher order matrices

I want to check controllability of a network which is represented in LTI dynamics. The network is of order greater than 30. Controllability check with matlab command 'ctrb' is not suitable since it requires computation of powers of A matrix upto n-1 where n is the order of A matrix. Is there any matlab package to check controllability of such networks
