How to fix the view dimensions in a figure plot

I am plotting equations with a changing variable and exporting via videowriter to an avi file. The problem is that the plot jumps in the animation, and I think this is because the view automatically scales to the plotted points. How to avoid this ? I tried Resizable 'off', but then I can't see any points being plotted ? Maybe I should output the points to a text file and see their dimensions to set the view accordingly?
